to find my way home. find peace. 
quietly wonder if this feeling of rootlessness 
will disappear.this ongoing longing after something somewhere someone and the never-ending worrying about not knowing what or where that missing piece is waiting for me to be found.

but the silence found me today.
it took me in. held me close. 
cradled me and sang me quiet lullabies.

i’m safe here.
the rest can wait.
